Human Library Info Meeting #3

  • Kendall Yards Welcome Center 1335 W Summit Pkwy Spokane, WA, 99201 United States (map)

ALL ARE WELCOME
Whether you came to another Spark Human Library Info Meeting or are finding out about the Human Library for the first time, come learn more about how you can become a living resource for your community at Spark Center. You'll meet other interested (and interesting) people and talk about the logistics of volunteering.

HOW THE HUMAN LIBRARY WORKS
The Human Library is an excellent opportunity to become a living resource, share your expertise, gain new skills, help others connect to learning and grow your community.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT
To become a part of Spark’s Human Library, you commit to be available at the Spark Center for three hours, ideally once a week—any shift you choose. You’ll welcome people who come to the center, help them with what they need, and if you choose, be a living resource for those seeking your expertise, feedback, help with a project, or those who just want to chat about who you are and what you know.

It's a great way to help others, gain new skills, connect with like-minded people in the community, and hang out in a space where exciting connections will be happening all the time.

COMMITMENT
Your commitment is to
(1) be a resident expert at the Spark Center for three-hours once a week or once every two weeks;
(2) as you're comfortable, assist center visitors to access learning resources and share your expertise or story;
(3) be friendly and welcoming to every person who walks through the door.

LET US KNOW YOU'RE INTERESTED!
Whether or not you attend this meeting, help us get to know you and let us know you're interested by signing up using the form at http://www.sparkwestcentral.org/volunteers
