What is Going On?! Becoming World Savvy

Thursday, March 3 // 6:30 - 8 PM

Have you ever read the newspaper and felt like you’re missing the context behind the story? That there’s a bigger historical context to the headlines? Join Bill Loskot for a non-political, non-partisan discussion of recent events in light of historical and cultural contexts.

*PLEASE NOTE THIS GATHERING IS NOT A PLATFORM FOR PEOPLE'S PERSONAL BELIEFS OR OPINIONS, BUT RATHER A FOCUS ON BECOMING INFORMED OF HISTORICAL & CULTURAL CONTEXTS BEHIND WORLD EVENTS.

ABOUT THE LEADER | BILL LOSKOT is a retired Foreign Service Officer and a Spokane native. He spent 27 years with the State Department in Washington, D.C., and at several U.S. Embassies overseas including Brussels, Prague, Bangkok, Paris, Sofia, and Kabul.  Bill retired in 2001 and he and his wife divide their time between Spokane and Thailand.
