Pi{e} Day

Pi{e} Day

WED. MAR. 14 // 6 - 9 PM

A wild celebration of the most irrational of numbers: Pi.

HUH?
The number "pi" — or 3.14 — rose to fame for being the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Geometry aside, there's a certain mystical allure to the number: Its digits carry on into infinity — "irrational" in math terms. In other words, it's simply unfathomable.

OH. UH, SO...
So we're having a party! There will be puns. There will be pies (the kind you eat). There will be a cutthroat recitation war, where people try to name as many digits of the number they can store in their brains. And to top it all off, we'll be showcasing music created by tiny computers known as Raspberry Pi's and their cousins, Arduinos.  No cost // everyone welcome.
