Rock Talk: Earth Poetry with Nathaniel Youmans

TUE. JUL. 11 // 7 - 9 PM

The natural world fuels endless curiosity in both the arts and sciences. Join Nathaniel Youmans to explore how merging poetry and geophysics can inspire new ideas about the world around us. $10 // Registration required.

Nathaniel Youmans is an MFA candidate at the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University, and a native of eastern Washington. He has been a lava cave tour guide overseas and he loves having staring contests with nature. Much of his work is concerned with synthesizing physical sciences with the arts and humanities. You can usually find him searching for buried treasure and talking to crows.
