GRADES 3-4 · In this playshop, you will depart on a two-hour storytelling adventure where you imagine characters, develop settings, and devise action-packed plots with the help of the West Central Publishing Union. By the end, you'll receive a personalized, bound book you created and the accomplishment of becoming a published writer!

GRADES 4-6 · Join us for a dive into the unsung histories and stories of Black, Indigenous, and communities of color that have too long been overlooked in our history books and in our shared cultural conversations. Youth will participate in a digital quest to discover for themselves the stories and triumphs of modern and historical figures. Then, they will take charge and retell the histories in their own words by creating written or visual art that represents the stories they would like to share. Kids will practice their hand at storytelling and be emboldened to see themselves as young ambassadors and future leaders in our community.

Girls Rock Lab online camp will provide workshops in rock music history, songwriting, and at-home instrument making.
