YOUNG ARTISTS MURAL CAMP
Monday, JULY 7 - FRIDAY, JULY 11 · 9 am - 12 Pm
GOING INTO GRADES 4 - 8 · Join us for an inspiring mural camp, a hands-on experience designed for young artists. At Spark, participants will explore the art of mural design and painting, learning innovative techniques while contributing to a collaborative masterpiece. Under the expert guidance of local artist and professional mural painter, Tiffany Patterson, campers will not only develop their artistic skills but also engage in a creative community project that transforms their ideas into a vibrant work of art.
CAMP MIXTAPE

GOING INTO GRADES 5 - 8 · Let’s create a mixtape! Using instruments and beats from Garageband, you will work together with mentors and peers to produce a medley of beats, instruments, and lyrics!

This camp takes place at the Spokane Public Library’s Central Branch.
GOING INTO GRADES 3 - 8 · Join a band, write your own music, and play in a concert! Girls Rock Lab provides workshops, mentors, and a space where underrepresented genders in the music industry are empowered leaders and collaborators. We value diversity and welcome girls, non-binary, and transgender kids from any identity or background to participate. Girls Rock Lab is generously held in partnership with the Spokane Public Library.
Please only register for Session 1 or 2. We ask that you only register for Girls Rock Lab if your child can attend all four sessions and the concert. We rely on each member to make the magic happen!
Our youth programs often have a full waiting list — each no-show means a missed opportunity for another child.
LEGO STORYTELLING CAMP
Tuesday, July 29 - FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 · 9:30 - 11:30 AM
GOING INTO GRADES 4 - 6 · Team up to meet this summer’s robotics challenge! In this camp, you’ll work together to design, build, and program a LEGO robot to tell a story as it moves across your own DIY map. Tell a familiar story or make a new one!
RIP & RECLAIM
TUESDAY, AUGUST 5 - FRIDAY, AUGUST 8 · 9:30 - 11:30 Am
GOING INTO GRADES 6 - 12 · Explore the world of textiles through custom clothing. Make wearables, upcycle, and strut your stuff in this new Spark Central camp. Learn new skills, experiment with colors and textures, and bring your unique artistic vision to life.
Code Kids
TUESDAY, August 12 - FRIDAY, August 15 · 9:30 am - 11:30 am
GOING INTO GRADES 4 - 8 · Create, collaborate, code! Throughout this camp, participants will learn to use core computer coding concepts on Scratch and will collaborate on a project with other participants. With Scratch and our supportive community, coding is at your fingertips!
ORIGIN STORIES

GOING INTO GRADES 3 - 8 · Create a short comic based on a myth, legend, or anything else that inspires you! Know and celebrate characters based on yourself, the challenges you’ve faced, and the things/people that help you along the way. See what you can come up with in a supportive environment of creators!
