In an effort to increase accessibility and equity in our annual fundraising efforts, Spark Central is hosting a number of free community events incorporating elements of our Spark Salon: Library of Voices on Saturday, April 29, 2023, with the help of local partners. Thanks to our supporters for joining our "Amplify Us," the 6th annual Spark Salon! 2022’s hybrid event experience created a music-themed night of entertainment and giving. The night featured Spark Central co-founder and bestselling author Jess Walter along with hosts Kiantha Duncan & Pat Simmons. They were joined on stage by a variety of local and national talent performing live and by video. We honored local musician and Girls Rock Lab creator Liz Rognes with our Creative Power Award and wrapped up our program with a live performance by a band from our own Girls Rock Lab camp. It was a night to remember!
