Anti-Racism, Inclusion, & Equity Policy
This policy commits our organization to anti-racist, inclusive, and equitable actions organization-wide, and also commits to evaluating ourselves with the help of the community on a race-equity matrix. The DEI Team of our Advisory Board is guiding us in this important work.
HEALTH EPIDEMIC POLICY
This policy addresses COVID-19 and other health epidemics, including changes to operations.
UNATTENDED CHILD POLICY
This policy addresses that we are not responsible for unattended children. We are a public space for all ages, and ask that children under 8 be accompanied by an adult or a family member over 13 years old.
PATRON CONDUCT POLICY
This policy addresses conduct expected of our patrons. It also includes our policy on service animals, appropriate clothing, and food.
NO WEAPON POLICY
To ensure a safe space for children and families, no weapons of any kind are allowed at Spark Central.

YOUTH BEHaVIOR POLICY
This policy sets behavior expectations to maintain a safe and creative learning environment for everyone. It also describes how staff will notify and work with parents to correct behavior trends that do not align to these expectations, and what circumstances may result in suspension frothe Station and programs.
Students at our partner schools can enroll for Level Up programs beginning a week before the start of the school year using a two-step process: completing an application and intake meeting. They are expected to attend all program sessions unless excused by a parent/guardian.
LEVEL UP ENROLLMENT POLICIES
In the event of inclement weather or other circumstances requiring closure of Spark Central’s Station or cancellation of enrollment-based programs, Spark Central uses social media, our website, and email to notify the public and/or enrolled families.
