February 7, 14, 21, and 28 • 2:30 - 4:30
Ages 15-17
Do you have ideas for plays or screenplays, but struggle to actually write or finish them? During this multi-part workshop, you’ll break through those barriers and move from the idea to draft of a one act play or short film script, guided by tv writer and Spokane native Erin Weller.
Participants are expected to be present at all four workshop days as well as a final cold read in front of a live audience.
Part 1: The Idea - Who, Where, When, Why
Part 2: The Rough Outline - What do you want to happen? Where do you want to start and end?
Part 3: Detailed Outline and Starting the Draft - Dive in and start writing! Our goal is progress, not perfection.
Part 4: The Finish Line - Edit and Finish (yes, finish!) the Draft
Please register for the workshop here!
