Adults. EWU’s Visiting Writer Series is bringing writer Sameer Pandya to Spark Central for a reading followed by a short Q+A session. Pandya is the author of three books, The Blind Writer: Stories and a Novella, Members Only, and Our Beautiful Boys.

Pandya’s novel Members Only, was a finalist for the California Book Award and an NPR “Books We Love” of 2020. His story collection, The Blind Writer, was longlisted for the PEN/Open Book Award. Pandya’s cultural criticism has appeared in many publications, including the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Atlantic, and Sports Illustrated. A recipient of the PEN/Civitella Fellowship, he is currently an associate professor of Asian American studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
