Personal Landscapes: Fiber Arts Open Studio

  • Spark Central 1214 West Summit Parkway Spokane, WA, 99201 United States (map)

Mondays April 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11 • 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Adults • Personal Landscapes: Fiber Arts Open Studio brings together artists from across the Inland Northwest who identify as having disabilities to share the stories, perspectives, and lived experiences that shape their creative worlds. Join Missy Narrance as she leads participants through structured fiber arts projects like weaving, yarn painting, collagraph printmaking, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects of all mediums to work on and to share their skills with one another. They'll spend the first hour doing a structured activity and the second to utilize Spark Central's materials, fiber arts and beyond, to work on independent projects. After the final day of class, participants are invited to show off their projects and invite family and friends to attend the Personal Landscapes: Fiber Arts Open House on May 11th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
