Everyone is an expert at something—graphic design, boat-building, electronic wiring, knitting, coding, resume writing, poetry, vegan baking, drawing dragons, philosophy, even giving sound advice. That’s our belief at Spark, and we want to bring Spokane’s talent to the surface to build our community capacity and foster organic connections.
HOW IT WORKS
To be part of Spark’s Human Library, you commit to be available at the Spark Center for three hours once a week—any shift you choose. You’ll help people who come to the center and be a living, human resource for those seeking your expertise, feedback, help with a project, or those who just want to chat about what you know.
We’ll post your name, picture, expert skill set, and hours on our website so those seeking your skill set know when to arrive. It’s a great way to connect with like-minded people in the community, put to use those skills you’ve been hiding in your back pocket, and hang out in a space where exciting connections will be happening all the time.
