After spending many years as a camp counselor, community organizer, volunteer, and West Central enthusiast, Aimee joined the Spark team in the spring of 2025. She moved from the High Plains of Texas to Spokane in the summer of ’22 to pursue her MFA in Creative Writing at Eastern Washington University where she met many wonderful friends and mentors. She lives in the West Central neighborhood and often goes for long walks on the Centennial Trail under the shade of the ponderosa pines. In her spare time, she’s carving linocuts, dabbling in playwriting, and working on her novel manuscript.
