Tue. June 27 // 6 - 7 PM
Spark will host the June meeting of Real-Time Collective, an open-to-everyone meet-up group about game development, virtual reality, interactive digital art and lots more. This is a social hour for people to meet each other and talk about what they're working on and/or what they're curious about. Special Guests: Developers from Cyan Inc (makers of Myst, Riven and Obduction) will talk about their experience organizing a game jam and answer questions!
About Real-Time Collective
WHAT :: Real-Time Collective's aims to connect anyone interested in,
• game development
• creative coding with graphics
• virtual reality / augmented reality / mixed reality
• interactive art
• and more
HOW :: We want to build a community of collaborative learning by sharing techniques, resources, and knowledge related to real-time graphics development and design. Like travelers returning from an expedition, this group is a place for creators to share: what they’ve discovered, where they’re going, how they’ve blazed a trail in their own projects, and how to get started.
WHO :: We recognize building diversity means active and intentional inclusion of underrepresented groups in tech. Therefore, we will reach out to communities such as women interested in tech and people of color. The Real-Time Collective is a safe space and in order to cultivate a community of inclusion and learning, we have a detailed Code of Conduct.
WHERE :: Spokane, WA.
