All Ages · Spark Central invites the community to a Meet and Greet with our new Executive Director, Posie Kalin! The event will feature live music and an all-ages art activity, offering a fun and interactive way to engage with Spark Central’s mission while getting to know our new Executive Director.

Posie brings over a decade of experience in arts education, nonprofit leadership, and community programming. Recognized for her visionary approach to integrating the arts with education, she has a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and a proven ability to cultivate partnerships that expand opportunities for historically underserved communities.

As Executive Director, Posie envisions Spark Central as a dynamic hub for collaboration, mentorship, and creative exploration. She is dedicated to broadening access to transformative experiences that support emerging artists, creative professionals, and youth. Under her leadership, Spark Central will continue strengthening Spokane’s arts ecosystem by fostering meaningful connections and innovative programming.

Posie holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Portland State University and has led numerous arts initiatives that inspire creative engagement and expand access to the arts. She resides in Spokane with her family and looks forward to strengthening Spark Central’s connections both locally and regionally.
