SATURDAY, MAY 17 • 1-2 PM
Children and Families · Dr. Gerry Ebalaroza-Tunnell will share a live reading of her international award-winning children's book, Let’s Live A.L.O.H.A. This inspiring narrative teaches young readers the transformative power of empathy, adaptability, and heart-centered living.
Let’s Live A.L.O.H.A. weaves essential life lessons through the vibrant Hawaiian acronym A.L.O.H.A.— Ask, Listen, Observe, Heart, Adapt—offering children accessible tools to navigate an ever-changing world with compassion and resilience. Through storytelling, Dr. Ebalaroza-Tunnell invites young minds to see the world not just as it is, but as it could be—with kindness, attentiveness, and courage.
This is a free event. All ages welcome. The first 24 families from the West Central neighborhood to attend the event will receive a free, autographed copy of Let’s Live A.L.O.H.A., ensuring that the seeds of storytelling and aloha will continue to grow long after the event has ended.
