Join us at the newly opened Spark Center for a night of introspection and revelry. Local singer Heather Simmons will sing some of Nina Simone's classics while we sip wine and meet our neighbors from 6-7pm. The lights go down at 7pm for a viewing of the newly released documentary, What Happened, Miss Simone? The film earned the prestigious opening spot for the Sundance Film Festival's 2015 opening night where festival founder Robert Redford introduced the biopic.
