Darrien Mack is a Spokane-based visual artist mixing multiple mediums. His passion for design encompasses videography, inspired by Wes Anderson, Denis Villeneuve, and Nicolas Winding Refn. Basically, any film produced by Studio A24, Focus Features, and Studio Ghibli.

His photography, influenced by the simple approaches Ira M. Randeck and his illustration energized by Georges Remi, Sachin Teng, and Mike Mitchell. Back-up dancing for the local indie rock band “Super Sparkle” has kept his creativity energy fueled as well. He has dabbled with oil painting, modeling, break dancing, poetic hip hop lyricism (a gift from his late mother), and improvisational comedy (a gift from his stand-up comedian father).

Outside of the arts, Darrien focuses on deeply connecting with the people of this city within several groups. Taking care of his grandmother and 11-year-old brother make living near Eastern Washington a necessity as well has a personal choice. He enjoys living here and plans on hopefully staying for an additional 26 years, at least.
