Want to take your digital art to the next level? Join Alan Chatham, director of the interactive art residency program Laboratory Spokane, and learn how to harness the power of code to make awesome, interactive visuals. No previous coding experience is necessary, so it's also a great way to learn programming fundamentals in an artistic way.

We'll be using the free coding environment Processing, which is used by creative coders all over the world for everything from music videos to massive art installations.

Chatham is the director of Laboratory, an artist residency program for interactive artists here in Spokane, and has been working with tools for creative coders for, gosh, over a decade, 'cause he's old now he guesses.
