Adults · Do you have a website? Have you played with WordPress/Divi, or used drag-and-drop tools like SquareSpace, Wix, or Shopify, but it isn't looking the way you want? You can learn! In this two-day workshop, we will build a one-page portfolio site with pure code (HTML/CSS). We will then bridge the gap with what you learned and transfer your coding knowledge to any site, put it in the backend, and make it look the way you want. Pizza will be provided! Register online.

Prior Knowledge to be successful

You will need a passing interest in web development and a willingness to break things. Your own laptop is recommended, but not required.

FACILITATOR BIO

Rocky is a front-end developer living in Spokane Valley and is the lead organizer of the local WordPress chapter in Spokane. He has a background in business education: providing training in the marketing/e-commerce space, working with small businesses to set up their tech infrastructure and setting up e-commerce technologies. His passions include solving business problems, teaching about upcoming technologies, and speaking at meet-ups and conferences.
