Pi{e} Day!

PROGRAM CANCELLED

SAT MAR 14 · 2 - 5 PM

All Ages · Join us for wild celebration of the most irrational of numbers: Pi. We’ll celebrate by having a day filled with two of our favorite things: eating pie and tinkering with tiny computers! We'll have computers and coding for every age, from Ozobots (tiny robots that follow code kids draw on paper) to Raspberry Pi (single-board computers). You can even compete to see who can find the circumference of the most circles. Come join in the fun, eat some pie, and learn new things!

HUH?
The number "pi" — or 3.14 — rose to fame for being the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Geometry aside, there's a certain mystical allure to the number: Its digits carry on into infinity — "irrational" in math terms. In other words, it's simply unfathomable. As is our love for it.
