Ages 16+ · Learn what a typical day looks like for a Level Up mentor, get some tips for supporting kids with writing, art, and other activities, and fill out paperwork to join our team at neighborhood schools. If you like getting to know kids and supporting their creativity, all you need to bring is you!
Volunteer opportunities are available for ages 16 and up. Anyone under 18 must attend the orientation with a parent.

Enjoy a social time with the authors and other volunteers before each author reads a passage from a work that speaks to them, whether it’s Shakespeare, a poem from a friend across the country, or a modern classic. Prepare for a unique reading experience full of excitement and friends.
