Drop In Program Volunteer
Drop-in programs are where our volunteers really get to shine and show ownership over their passions! These programs let you share your creative spark (see what we did there?) with all kinds of different people. Volunteers can join one of our existing drop-in programs (listed below, so long as we haven’t met our volunteer capacity for that program) or meet with our program director to plan their own.
Like with all volunteers, we ask drop-in program volunteers to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Take a look at the Getting Started section here for more information.
TUESDAYS • 3 - 5 PM
All ages · Embark on a journey of creative self-expression! Whether on your own or with guidance, ease into simple exercises that explore basic artistic concepts. You could also respond to an optional mindfulness prompt. Our program provides a relaxed and inspiring environment for self-discovery, with all materials provided. (Or bring your own!) Try it at your own pace in a low-pressure setting.
This program is made possible thanks to our community funders and individual donors like you!
TUESDAYS • 5:30 - 7 PM
Teens · Teen Write Club is a place for teen writers to let their voices be heard, get feedback on their work, and explore all things prose and poetry. Tired of analyzing similes and metaphors? Come up with some of your own! Get ready to hone your writing skills, discuss the ins and outs of craft, and, of course, WRITE.

All skill levels are welcome, whether you’ve never drawn a doodle in your life or you’re a total pro. Supplies are provided - all you need to bring is your imagination.
