station & library volunteers

Station & library volunteers commit to working for 2 to 3 hours a week in Spark Central's Creative Station. Their role focuses on making Spark Central a welcoming space accessible to everyone!

These volunteers welcome patrons, answer our Help Desk telephone, describe what Spark Central is to adults, offer free membership to new guests, and learn our library software so that they can check in and out books, technology, and creative kits. Station volunteers may assist staff in engaging youth and families in engaging creative activities; library volunteers may assist with maintaining technology or cataloguing new library items. Station & library volunteers may also assist in inventory, data entry, and cleaning.
