Jade is a lifelong writer and nonprofit professional who believes in the power of stories, connection, and community care. Jade grew up in Spokane with two hard working parents and a deep appreciation for the ways the community can show up for families in need of assistance. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Leadership and Management, Jade set off to live and work in Los Angeles and New York, learning a lot, writing even more, and always carrying Spokane in her heart. Now back home for good, Jade is on a mission to help make this city a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving creative hub especially for kids and teens with stories to tell.

When not connecting with donors or championing Spark’s mission, Jade can usually be found walking her dog, working on short films with her husband, or dreaming up house projects with a mug of strong coffee in hand
