Minecraft Village
A short play by TheO, CHASE, AND ALFREDO (HOLMES, Grades 3-4), inspired by Minecraft

Characters: Steve (the hero), Zombie/Skeleton (he’s scary!), Villager (the innocent victim), Piglin (the fortress’ defender), and the Narrator
Scene 1: In An Oversized Village (basically a city)
Narrator: We start in the village. It is night time.
Villager: My this is a nice night.
Steve: Yes indeed.
Narrator: Then the villager meets a zombie in the village!
Zombie: Grrrr, grrrrrr, urrrrgggghhhhh!
Villager: Aaaaaaaa! I’m running Away!
Narrator: The zombie chased the villager through the paved sidewalk.
Villager: There is nowhere left for me to run! I’m caught!
Narrator: Steve was walking through the village and saw the villager in trouble.
Steve: Take that! Cheee-yah!
Zombie: (Collapses.) Urp! Durp!
Villager: Thank you for saving me!
Steve: You’re welcome!
Scene 2: In A Cave
Narrator: Steve enters a cave looking for materials. (Steve looks everywhere) Three hours Later!
Steve: Finally! Now I can build a nether portal!
Narrator: He builds the portal and goes though it.
Scene 3: Through The Nether Portal
Steve: Oh no, I portaled right into a Piglin fortress!
Piglin: (Looking at Steve:) Intruder!
Narrator: But right then a Wither Skeleton enters the fortress and begins to steal chests.
Piglin: Not my treasure!
Narrator: Steve successfully battles the skeleton.
Piglin: Wow, that was unexpected! You are the most helpful intruder ever! Here is some gold.
Steve: It’s just a normal day for me!
