Setting: On a bright day, first in a house then outside.

Scene 1

Narrator: Once there was a little cat. She was cute. She was furry. And she was… 
Grumpy Cat: GRUMPY! 
Narrator: Grumpy cat didn’t like anything! 
Grumpy Cat: (Nods.)
Narrator: Grumpy Cat went outside. She wanted to be alone. But soon a happy butterfly started TALKING TO HER!
Butterfly: Hi Grumpy Cat! You know what’s great about the outdoors?
Grumpy Cat: NOTHING!
Narrator: Grumpy cat wanted the butterfly to go away but it didn’t. Instead a cheerful Ladybug JOINED THEM!
Ladybug: Good morning Grumpy Cat!
Grumpy Cat: THERE’S NO SUCH THING!
Butterfly: Grumpy Cat, would you like to play?
Narrator: Grumpy Cat would NOT!
Ladybug: Come on, it will be fun!
Grumpy Cat: I had fun once, it was AWFUL!
Narrator: A joyful bird joined in. Grumpy cat was SURROUNDED by happy animals!
Littlebird: Grumpy Cat! There must be something fun you would do! I know, would you like to race?
Narrator: Would Grumpy Cat?
Ladybug, Littlebird, and Butterfly: Ready,,, Set… (They start running!)
Grumpy Cat: NO! (She sits.)
Narrator: The creatures all raced away. Grumpy Cat was FINALLY alone.
Grumpy Cat: Good.
